Parkvilla face FAI Cup replay

Navan side Parkvilla hosted Munster Senior League side Blarney Utd in the first round of the FAI Senior Cup at Claremont Stadium, Navan this afternoon and now face a replay in Cork.

The Navan side took the lead in the opening half and could have had one or two more goals as they created plenty of chances.

However, Blarney equalised midway through the second-half and will now be confident that they can negotiate the Navan men in the replay which is likely to be be on weekend 13tt/14th April although this is not confirmed.

The FAI will fix the date for the replay on Monday.
