McDonogh in winners enclosure

Moynalty jockey Declan McDonogh took his tally of winners for the week to three and for the season to 31 when he was on the mark at Dundalk last night. McDonogh scored with the Sabrina Harty-trained Ansgar in a handicap. The Meath jockey made all the running and Ansgar kept on well from over a furlong out to win at the 11th attempt. The four-year-old was cast in his box last month but has recovered well from that.
