'Terrorize' tour launches new single from The Myth

Navan-based band The Myth are currently on tour to mark the launch of their new single, 'Terrorist'. Appropriately enough, they are on their 'Terrorize' tour. The single will be officially launched in the Palace this Friday night, 10th June. The Myth were seen on RTE's 'All-Ireland Talent show' this year where they received the top markings from the judges on the night of their appearance. Paul McGrath, Kenny and David Gavin and Brian Clarke are the four members that make the feel good, catchy rock n roll sound of The Myth. With energetic and feel good songs such as 'Top of the World', 'Don't Care', 'Feel', 'Terrorist' and many many more, 'The Myth' are a band that appeals to everyone. They have played support to Aslan on numerous occasions and have played alongside The Christians from Liverpool in Whelans, Nell Bryden, Crawdaddy Oazis in McHugh's Drogheda. Just missing out in a place at Glastonbury 2010, The Myth made up for it by getting a slot at Oxegen '10 on the new dawn stage. They've also played Shamrock' 10 and the Milk Festival. They went on to play Our Guinness Thursdays in Kells, and Bagful of Songs in Sarsfield's, Drogheda. This year, The Myth have broke in the college seen with gigs for Drogheda and Dundalk colleges and an up and coming gig in UCD and Galway. They have worked with a charity, The Help Kayley Walk Fund, to help raise over €50,000. This summer they will work with the HSE on the Jigsaw/Headspace to promote mental health in young people and a benefit night in Knights Bar, Navan for cancer. The Myth have made appearances on RTE TV they have made appearances on Balcony TV, Bandwagon TV and Shed TV. On the All-Ireland Talent Show, they blew away the judges and finished with the highest judges scores on the night. The Myth have recorded their first single in Cauldron recording studios in Dublin and have had their single produced by Ciaran Byrne whose credits read like a who's who in the music industry working with big name such as U2. After their Navan gig on Friday, they will play at the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Mater Hospital, Dublin, on Saturday night, and on 18th June in Vibe Nightclub, Kells.
