'X-Factor: The Final' (TV3, Saturday, 7pm) - It's the night everybody's been waiting for! The 'X-Factor' judges have searched for the next big thing across Britain and Ireland with record numbers auditioning and watching. This weekend, that search draws to a close. Tonight, the remaining finalists go head-to-head as they sing live in a bid to win the most talked-about TV talent show and that life-changing recording contract. Also battling it out are the judges - Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Host Dermot O'Leary is on hand to keep the warring parties at bay. There are big surprises in store with performances by international guest stars. ___________________________________________________________ 'Accused' (BBC 1, Monday, 9pm) - This week's episode of the riveting series sees family man Kenny Armstrong in the dock because he acted against his better judgment, in a drama full of complicated moral dilemmas. Kenny leads an ordinary life with his wife and children. Then, one seemingly normal afternoon turns into a nightmare. The Armstrongs' daughter, Chloe, has been attacked by a man in the local park. Fuelled with self-righteous outrage, Kenny – along with his friends, brothers Gordon and Neil Richmond – races off to search the park and find the culprit. Chloe has said the man was wearing blue shorts and had a dog. The men find the man described and set upon him, seriously injuring him. Kenny is horrified by the ferocity of the brothers' attack and the violence they have all perpetuated. By the time he gets home, his wife Donna has called the police. Now the three friends are in the dock - but Kenny has confessed and the brothers have not. So who will be convicted on the evidence presented? ___________________________________________________________ 'The Savoy' (ITV, Monday, 9pm) - The Savoy was Britain's first luxury hotel and, for over 100 years, it has been synonymous with extravagance, glitz and glamour. For the first time, cameras have been allowed into this exclusive and elegant establishment to witness the closure and re-opening of the hotel after a staggering £220m, two-year refurbishment. From the builders and the butlers to the boss, key staff members talk to the programme about their part in reclaiming the glamour and glory of the iconic hotel, providing a revealing insight during one of the most pivotal moments in its illustrious existence and the people striving to meet the challenge of restoring its stature as a global leader in elegance, luxury and service. Head butler, Limerick man Sean Davoren, who has been a butler for 30 years and served every European royal family, leads a rigorous recruitment drive to select and train a team of world-class butlers for the hotel's reinstated butler service – the first time the hotel has offered this service in 50 years. Davoren is now able to train his team to do everything from run a guest's bath to dress them. ___________________________________________________________ 'John Pilger: The War You Don't See' (ITV, Tuesday, 10.35pm) - In this documentary, John Pilger, the winner of journalism's top awards for both press and broadcasting, questions the role of the media in war. Pilger, himself a renowned correspondent, asks whether mainstream news has become an integral part of war-making. Focusing on the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, Pilger reflects on the history of the relationship between the media and government in times of conflict stretching back to World War I, and explores the impact on the information fed to the public of the modern-day practice of public relations in the guise of 'embedding' journalists with the military. ___________________________________________________________ 'Spoilt Little Rich Kids' (TV3, Tuesday, 8pm) - This documentary takes the viewer into the world of children who so desperately want to be celebrities at the age of 10 that they are already living the celebrity lifestyle - encouraged by their parents. Meet a 10 year-old girl who tells us she is on 'the list' as a potential match for Prince William. At the age of eight, her mother started her on a daily beauty regime, including a £200 per month hair routine, to prepare her for what lies ahead. As she reaches her 11th birthday, celebrating with a 'Vogue party' she agrees with her mum that “you can never be too prepared for supermodel statusâ€. ___________________________________________________________ Movie Of The Week: 'The Sixth Sense' (TV3, Sunday, 10.45pm) - In this psychological thriller, eight-year-old Haley Joel Osment is haunted by a dark secret: he is visited by ghosts. Confused by his paranormal powers, the child is too young to understand his purpose and too terrified to tell anyone about his torment, except child psychologist Bruce Willis. As the shrink tries to uncover the ominous truth about the child's supernatural abilities, the consequences for client and therapist are a jolt that awakens them both to something harrowing - and inexplicable. One of the best twist endings in cinema history.
