League of Ireland resumes - Meath focus

Trim man Timmy Clancy scoreed the winner for Bray Wanderers in the 81st minute as the League of Ireland action resumed this evening after a short mid-season break.

Bray were in action against Derry City and at 2-2 they failed to defend a cross which resulted in a scramble, Timmy Clancy steered the ball home from close range.

Gary Rogers was in action for Dundalk and Jamie mcGrath came on as a sub as the defending champions hit hosts Drogheda for six without reply.

Georgie Poynton was in action for Bohs who staged a great comeback to win 2-1 against St Pat's and move well clear in the relegation battle.

Another Trim man, David O'Connor, played for Limerick, but they lost against leaders Cork City.
