Action from today's game between Parkvilla and Lusk.

Parkvilla relinquish lead and settle for a draw

After taking a 2-0 lead early on Parkvilla had to be happy with a 2-2 draw against Lusk Utd in the Leinster Senior League u-19 league clash at Claremont Stadium this morning.

Stephen Lyons's side could hardly have made for a better start scoring two well-taken goals from Ben Renehan and Joey Moran-Lynagh.

However Lusk Utd, instead of folding, bounced back with two goals of their own through Id Udoh and Daniel Mahony inside three minutes.

It looked at that stage like there might be an avalanche of goals however both teams closed up at the back and neither side were able to conjure up a winner.

There were plenty of meaty challenges in the game with both sets of players displaying a strong desire for victory.

Lynagh, Ryan Crocock and the impressive Serghei Istrati threatened for the home side but Lusk Utd also had opportunities and the 'Villa goalkeeper Mark Devlin had to be alert to prevent Udoh from finding the net in the second-half while their substitute Jack McGuinness fired over when in a good position near the end.

Aaron Doherty and Shane Bennett were strong at the back as they needed to be against a strong Lusk Utd attack.
