Nina Carberry and husband Ted Walsh

Two from two for Nina

Two from two for returning-to-action Nina Carberry when she followed up on Thursday's win at Ballinrobe with another success at Downpatrick yesterday.

Once again the ammunition was provided by trainer Noel Meade who is enjoying a good run of  from and saw Roseriver Has win the concluding bumper by a head from the Gordon Elliott-trained Stooshie and Jamie Codd.

Carberry will team up with trainer Elliott at Navan today as she bids to make it three-in-a-row in the concluding bumper on board Moonligh Escape, the more fancied of Elliott's two runners in the eight-runner bumper.

Yesterday at Downpatrick Elliott was on the mark in a handicap chase which completed a double for jockey Jack Kennedy who sent his mount to the front before the last and won comfortably.

Ashbourne jockey Andrew Lynch added to the Meath flavour at the Ulster track when landing a novice hurdle for Tyrone trainer Andy Oliver with Scotch Beg.

Barry Geraghty returns to action today at Navan and will be on board Santiago De Cuba in a 30-runner opening maiden hurdle for boss JP McManus and trainer Joseph O'Brien.
