Lynch winner at Fairyhouse

Ashbourne jockey Andrew Lynch added another winner to his tally, although he ahd to survive a stewards enquiry, when he won a handicap hurdle at fairyhouse today with the John Larkin-trained Bay Of Kotor Larkin, who used to train near Trim, but is now based in Co Louth near Dunleer, could send the the winner to Navan on Monday to attempt a quick follow-up. Bay Of Kotor was formerly trained by Noel Meade and ended up in Co Louth via Kilkenny and was winning for the first time after 10 previous attempts. Having won a bumper in 2009, a maiden hurdle in 2010, Noel Meade's Perfect Smile completed the tally by landing a beginners chase at Fairyhouse today. Jockey Paul Carberry had to survive a bad mistake at the fifth last, but won easily on the six-year-old that had a wind operation since his last run in April. The John Corr-owned gelding coul re-appear at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day in a novice chase.
