The new Pairc Tailteann and how it would look

Pairc Tailteann plans on view at open forum

 Meath GAA Co Board in conjunction with Meath Co Council hosted an public information event today (2pm - 8pm) in the Navan O'Mahonys GAA Centre.

The plans for the redevelopment of Páirc Tailteann were on view and officials were available to answer questions and provide clarification on a number of issues.

According to Co Board officials the open consultation generated a lot of interest and provided the residents living in the locality with an opportunity to pose questions and get answers.

No detailed information about any issues raised is available at this time.

Last Monday night a meeting of the Co Board with the clubs (chairman, secretary and treasurer) to discuss the plans and finance required from the clubs was postponed - no new date for that meeting has been set yet. 

The Meath GAA annual convention willt ake place on Monday 11th December.
