GAA Friday night focus

Ballivor recorded a narrow 3-11 to 2-11 victory over Syddan in the IFC at Cortown last night. Ballivor were ahead at the interval with a goal from Adam Gannon boosting them to a 1-8 to 0-6 interval lead.

Dunshaughlin edged out Dunsany in the JFC at Skryne last night where Martin Reilly kicked five points as the negotiated their neighbours by 0-11 to 1-7.

Clann na nGael defeated Navan O'Mahonys by 5-12 to 1-6 after leading by 4-4 to 0-3 at the interval.
