Insomnia's vintage effect in Kells

Insomnia Coffee Company has started the new year off with a bang with the opening of a new store in Kells.
Insomnia Coffee Company has become an iconic Irish brand and is well known to coffee lovers across the country offering coffee, tea, sandwiches and snacks. The company, which celebrated its 20th birthday last year, has grown rapidly and now has over 150 stores including 17 stores in the UK.
Store manager, Vaiva Juodewyte, whom has over 10 years coffee experience, is very excited to be a part of the team opening the store.

“I’m looking forward to leading the team and to be serving the famous Insomnia blend to the lovely community of Kells," she says.
The store design reflects Insomnia’s coffee heritage whilst also taking and combining inspiration from vintage tea shops and industrial urban lofts. A welcoming and comfortable space using fabrics and natural finishes punctuated with quirky and fun branding evokes a great ambience. Wall features including tea cup clocks with cups bought from second hand shops in the Liberties, Dublin. Alongside this is wall branding with coffee inspired messages, wall galleries and book shelves that operate a popular book swap system where apart from enjoying a book to read while having a coffee in store, customers can take a book away and all they have to do is leave a book to stay.
The store in Farrell Street will provide employment for six people.
The full insomnia menu will be available including newly introduced drinks the healthy Golden Turmeric Latte and Almond Matcha Latte. Favourites from the patisserie fridge include the Chocolate Brownie and carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting.
Harry O’Kelly, CEO of Insomnia Coffee Company, says:  “We are delighted to have opened a store in Kells, this is our third store in Meath and further one open in Navan towards the end of the year.  I am sure our coffee will be very popular in Kells and hope the store will become a local hub.
