Moynalty tops again in Meath Tidy Towns

Trim and Moynalty have both shown their outstanding qualities in the Supervalu National Tidy Towns Competition by retaining their gold medal status in their categories in the results announced on Monday.
Most towns and villages in the county have shown improvement over last year and municipal authorities in Navan can feel especially proud at seeing the town improve by 10 points over last year - 275 (2015) to 285 (2016).
Trim came first in category F - improving from 316 last year to 322 this year, while Moynalty, in category A, went up from 320 last year to 324 this year.
Wilkinstown came into the competition for the first time this year and was awarded 240 points out of 450 in category B, while Kilberry got a special endeavour award.
