Dunshaughlin actors love interest role in red rock

After a summer hiatus, TV3 soap Red Rock is finally back on the screens this week with even more explosive storylines.

The departing episode in June saw Garda Adrijan Kosos get run over in a jaw dropping hit-and-run scene, while Katie Kiely agonised over whether or not to go to England for an abortion. Michael Hennessy also has an impending murder trial for the death of Darren Kiely.

But despite a murder charge and life in prison looming over his head, Michael is pleasantly preoccupied with a sexy new love interest. Siobhan Reilly, a sassy free-spirited traveller, played by Dunshaughlin actress Sarah Jane Seymour,  captivates Michael with her stunning good looks and carefree outlook.

It’s a breath of fresh air for stressed out Michael and judging from the latest photos of the pair things look very passionate but will Michael’s murderous background drive a wedge between him and his new love interest?

Love looks like it could also be on the cards for Sean 'Westlife' Holden. The handsome Garda catches the eye of local girl Niamh Reid, the older sister of Rachel Reid who was embroiled in a controversial underage affair with corrupt bully Brian McGonigle. However the course of true love never runs smooth and it isn’t long before things get complicated.

Younger sister Rachel meanwhile, seems destined to attract trouble. With older lover Brian now out of the picture, she turns her attention to Conor Tyrell, the son of Sergeant Angela Tyrell. Can Conor stay clean from his addiction to heroin or will he end up back on the gear and bringing the easily led Rachel along with him for the ride?

‘Red Rock’ returns this Wednesday 2nd September and airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8.30pm on TV3.
