Three world medals for bru

Bru Brewery, from Trim has won a Gold Medal at the prestigious World Beer Awards for its Gluten Free Lager. It was also won a silver medal for its Irish Red Ale, and a bronze medal for its Irish Craft IPA.

The World Beer awards is the most prestigious competition for beer globally and recognises the worlds best beers. Paddy Hurley, brewer, commenting on the awards said: 'We are delighted in this fantastic recognition for the brewery and reflects the passion and dedication of the team to brewing the finest quality hand crafted beer using locally sourced products.'

Bru Lager has been recognised with for its crisp refreshing hand crafted flavour and finish, and is the only gluten free Irish craft lager available in the Irish market.

Bru Brewery was founded in 2012 by Daire Harlin and Paddy Hurley and has grown from strength to strength. Bru beers are available in all good off-licences and select public houses nationwide and in 16 countries worldwide.
