Ronan Keating launches 'Sleep Pink' campaign

Former Meath resident Ronan Keating jetted back from Australia, where he is currently judging XFactor Australia, for one day only to kick off the launch of Sleep Pink in Harvey Norman, Airside Swords.

Now in its third year, Sleep Pink is an annual nationwide charity campaign run by Harvey Norman in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation. The late Marie, a hairdresser in Dunshaughlin, was the singer's mother, who died from cancer. Sleep Pink will run from 16th September to 31 October 2013 this year and Harvey Norman is aiming to raise €30,000 for the Marie Keating Foundation during that time. A percentage from the sale of all items in the Harvey Norman Sleep Pink range will be donated to the foundation; the Sleep Pink range includes mattresses, divans, pillows and more.

The best way for people to get involved with the charity is to go online to www.mariekeating.ie to find out more information or to donate directly through the website.
As part of Sleep Pink month, mobile units from the Marie Keating Foundation will visit Harvey Norman stores nationwide, distributing information and promoting breast health awareness.

'Sleep is the cornerstone of our health and we are delighted to ‘Sleep Pink’ for the third year supporting the Marie Keating Foundation, raising funds and awareness about Breast Cancer. This campaign is made possible from our terrific staff and the fantastic support of our locally made brands such as King Koil, Therapedic, ThermoPure, The Soft Bedding Company and Sealy,' said Robbie Auckram, General Manager Bedding Ireland.
