Green Party announces by-election candidate

Seán Ó Buachalla

Seán Ó Buachalla will stand as Green Party Candidate in the Meath-East by-election on 27th March.

Mr Ó Buachalla is a youth club development officer with a keen understanding of youth, community and public facility issues in Meath and has a proven track-record in community activism. He stood for the party in the 2007 and 2011 general elections and the 2009 local elections.

Seán Ó Buachalla initiated the campaign to have a new Gaelscoil recognised in South-East Meath, which ultimately saw the recent official recognition of Gaelscoil na Mí as a new school primary school for that area. He currently sits on the Board of Management of that school.
