Serious accident on Longwood - Trim Road

Gardai in Trim are investigating a serious road traffic collision which occurred near Brannockstown on the Longwood to Trim Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1.30pm, a female in her 20s was seriously injured when the motor car she was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry. She was taken by ambulance to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

The road was closed to traffic, with forensic collision investigators at the scene and diversions in place.
