Freddie Cooke.

Cookie monster night at central

There’s an extra special spooky Halloween Navan Laughs on Thursday 30th October at The Central, with fancy dress optional but there’ll be some great prizes for the best outfits on the night!

Headlining is Kells comic Fred Cooke, who is ubiquitous on our TV screens at the moment. He’s come a long way from the Spar ads, currently starring in Republic of Telly, The Fear, Savage Eye and loads more. He performed his first solo show at Vicar Street this year and Navan Laughs is delighted to welcome him back.

Support on the night comes from Tom O’Mahony, better known as Tarquin on RTE’s Damo & Ivor, and runner-up in last year’s RTE New Comedy Awards. Tom’s just back from a sell-out Edinburgh solo show and is not to be missed. Joining Tom is Northern Ireland’s Sean Hegarty, possibly the finest purveyor of one-liners on this island. He was runner-up in the Dave’s UK Pun Championship this year and writes for a number of BBC shows such as Monumental.

FJ Murray will be your Guest MC on the night and Dubliner Joe Dowlin will perform a short set after wowing the Navan crowd last year.

Tickets are €10 from The Central and www.ticketstop.ie, with the Comedy Meal Deal (2 courses and a gig ticket) for €27. Doors open at 8:30pm, with the show kicking off at 9pm.
