Jimmy Buckley for Monday Night Club

Jimmy Buckley released his new single a few weeks ago entitled ‘Going Through The Big D’, and will be appearing at the Ardboyne Hotel next Monday night. The song is already proving to be a massive hit on the dance floors for the Limerick native regarded as Ireland’s true voice of country. This song now forms part of his new album.
On 28th March last, Jimmy, in conjunction with Dolphin released a new double CD album entitled ‘The Essential Collection’ which on the week after its release went into the Irish charts at Number 8. The album encapsulates Jimmy’s musical journey so far. The choice of material contained in the album is taken from the various stages of Jimmy’s career to date. He is especially proud of the duets performed with the legendary George Jones and with his daughter Claudia contained in the album. His journey so far has taken him ‘From Here To The Moon And Back’. The new album is available in all good music shops including HMV and Xtra-vision stores.
Jimmy has just returned from a sell-out tour of the UK, and his annual visit to the  Carribean to perform on the Gertie Byrne all–star cruise was once again a resounding success. He is backed by the ‘creme de le creme’ of Irish talent, drummer Christopher Dolan, keyboards/piano, Donie Duggan, bass/vocals, James Mullen, and on fiddle, Athboy’s  Charlie Arkins, with lead and steel and vocals, Declan O’Hare.
