Pat McDonnell returns to Navan Laughs.

Stellar line-up for Navan Laughs

It’s a happy new year for comedy fans as Navan Laughs returns to The Central on Thursday 30th January with an all-star line-up, containing stars of Father Ted, Savage Eye, Republic of Telly, Irish Pictorial Weekly and more.

Pat McDonnell is our most requested headline act and he returns with his peerless stand-up act fresh from filming a new series of ‘Savage Eye’. Despite his starring roles in that show and the likes of ‘Moone Boy’ and ‘Naked Camera’, he’s best known for his role as Eoin McLove in ‘Father Ted’.

Eleanor Tiernan is the stand-out star of Irish Pictorial Weekly and has just finished an Irish and UK tour as the hand-picked support for Reg D Hunter. She is the best female comedian in the country right now, so check her out before she’s bigger than her well-known cousin from Navan!

Completing the line-up is the new presenter of ‘Republic of Telly’, Kevin McGahern. Kevin first came to attention as Sim Card on ‘Hardy Bucks’ before becoming the People’s Choice winner of last year’s RTE New Comedy Awards. He’s also the star of possibly our favourite ever Irish viral video, ‘The Man Who Slipped on the Ice’.

Alan Gernon will preside over MC duties with the regular headline competition and critical analysis of this month’s local news.

Doors open at 8.30pm and the show kicks off at 9pm. Tickets are €10 and are available from www.ticketstop.ie or The Central. Reserve a Comedy Meal Deal (two Courses and gig ticket) for €25 by phoning The Central on (046) 902 7999.
