'Eden' for Droichead Arts Centre
Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda hosts Decadent Theatre Company with its touring production of 'Eden' by Eugene O’Brien on Wednesday 16th October.
O’Brien’s award winning play ‘Eden’, brings to life a gallery of colourful midlands characters. At the heart of his world is a moving, funny and tragic portrait of the failing marriage of Billy and Breda and the weekend that will make or break them.
From the author of RTE’s acclaimed drama series, ‘Pure Mule’, inspired by this very play, Eugene O’Brien’s debut play ‘Eden’ won Best New Play at the Irish Times Theatre Awards and Best New Play for the Stewart Parker Awards.
In a major new national touring production, Decadent Theatre are bringing together a stellar cast of Patrick Ryan (Trivia, Pure Mule) and Lesley Conroy (The Running Mate, Mattie).
