Navan RFC u-13s on a roll

With an unbeaten record for this season Navan RFC's u-13s prepared well for the preliminary round for the Sunday Cup against Malahide RFC last weekend.

No matter where Navan play they can be sure of a good solid performance from the team, and yet again they were not disappointed on a very windy day in Malahide.
Wind-assisted Navan enjoyed a 33-0 half-time lead on the way to a 43-14 victory.

The first try was scored within the first two minutes of the game and the marker was set - the tries kept coming.

The first-half saw tries from Mark Davis (two), Noah Dunne (two) and Robbie Davis and four conversions from Aidan Rennie.

After the break Davis scored again before Malahide came in from the cold with two converted tries.

Davis gave the final response by completing his hat-trick.

The next u-13 match is the last league game v Tullamore at home next Sunday with Tullamore vying to finish in second place.

All players, coaches and parents would like to wish Fintan Harries a speedy recovery from the injuries he sustained on Sunday.
