Eleven Meath sports clubs awarded funding

Eleven  sports clubs in Co. Meath have been awarded funding under the  Sports Capital Funding Programme. €344,100 was distributed in total to Meath clubs.
The clubs you received funding were: Ashbourne Tennis Club who recived €69,000, Cushinstown Athletic Club (€56,200), Duleek School Boys and Girls Football Club (€2,600), Rathcairn Amenity Park, (€3,700), Dunderry GAA Club (€55,200), Kiltale Hurling & Camogie Club (€38,300), Moynalvey GAA Club, (€25,800), Park Celtic Summerhill FC (€5,900), Ratoath Tennis Club Ltd (€20,700), Syddan GAA Club (€39,600), Trim Celtic A.F.C. (€27,100).
In total €7 million was awarded to sports clubs nationwide. The programme under which the clubs recived funding was open to applicants whose funding requests in 2017 were invalid due to technical faults. They were subsequently invited  to correct their applications rather than having to make completely fresh applications. 186 groups took up this opportunity and over 90% of these groups are now getting a grant.
