Directorial debut for Navan actor Ian Meehan at Galway Film Fleadh

Lismullen actor and filmmaker Ian Meehan will make his directorial debut at this year's Galway Film Festival. Previously known for his role in the television show ‘Vikings’ and more recently at the Solstice Theatre in Navan where he played the role of Lord Dunsany in ‘Ledwidge’, he is honoured to have been accepted into the prestigious festival. Written by Simon Rochford, ‘Squared Circle’ follows the trials and tribulations of a travelling circus of indie Irish wrestlers and is narrated by actor Ger Carey (Love Hate, Adam and Paul). Squared Circle will receive its world premiere at noon on 10th July at the Town Hall Theatre, Galway.
