Funky Fashion Frolics duo Mike and Paul were delighted to declare their sold out Excellence in Style Fashion Show last Tuesday a massive success.
Guests at Tankardstown House were treated to a meet and greet at their pre-show drinks reception in the main house with Steven Mangan on hand to deliver a brilliant Michael Buble performance.
Personal stylist Paul Carroll who runs the successful House of Paul salon in Slane and Mike McCarthy who is a social care manager by day set up Funky Fashion Frolics a couple of years ago and have been huge supporters of local boutiques up and down the country.
Their first show saw the best in autumn, winter 2018 fashion from boutiques across County Meath and international Irish design talent from the likes of Philip Treacy, Umit Kutluk, and Jen Kelly designs. Their were no less than three former Miss Ireland’s modelling and all models came courtesy of their agents in Dublin at Assets modelling agency. This show had an extra special edge given that it was raising money on behalf of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie during the charity raffle.

“It was an amazing feeling to be hosting our own show having compered so many which we love to do, but this was special as it was out own,” said Paul.
Mike stated that their passion for fashion is “one of the strongest things they have in common and that doing this show culminated in all their dreams being realised.”
