Trim Drama Group's 'Truth, Lies and Murder'

Trim Drama Group will present an evening of life, drama, comedy and death with their production 'Truth, Lies and Murder', which runs at Trim Town Hall from 20th-22nd November. The production is a mix of three one-act plays - 'Semper Fidelis', 'The Galway Girl' and 'Euby of Elsinore'. Members of Trim Drama Group are busy in the final rehearsals and preparation stages for the production. The first play, 'Semper Fidelis' by Henry Hudson, is directed by Kevin Martin. The title means 'Always Faithful', and is a very timely drama given ongoing revelations. The second play, 'The Galway Girl' by Geraldine Aron, is being directed by Barbara McGonagle. The story explores the plight of a wife and mother who tries to keep family and finances together. The last play is 'Ruby of Elsinore' by Bruce Kane, directed by Delphine Coudray. A play about a play that is set in a hairdressing salon, with Shakespearian style, and guaranteed laughs. Trim Drama Group advises that the evening is not suitable for children. 'Truth, Lies and Murder' opens for a three-night run on Friday 20th November, running until 22nd November, in the Town Hall Trim, at 8pm nightly. Tickets (€10/€8 concession) are available from James Allen Hair Design, Haggard Court, Haggard Street, Trim, telephone (046) 943 7503, or on the door.
