Stolen tools recovered

 

Gardaí yesterday recovered a number of stolen power tools from a vehicle parked at a building site in Drumree and are appealing to anyone who may recognise them as theirs to come forward. 

At approximately 12 pm, Garda units from Dunshaughlin and Ashbourne responded to reports of three males in a maroon Toyota Avensis acting suspiciously on a building site at Warrenstown, Drumree. The males ran from the scene and in the process abandoned the Toyota Avensis. The suspects were seen being picked up by a black Audi car nearby at short time later. 

Gardaí discovered a number of expensive tools in the boot of the car. These are suspected to have been stolen from building sites in the area and enquiries are ongoing in this regard.

In addition, Gardaí would like to hear from anybody who may have dashcam footage that recorded the three males in the area or any other suspicious activity in the area.
