Gardaí respond to bomb threat at RTÉ buildings in Dublin

Staff at RTÉ buildings in Dublin have been evacuated following a reported bomb threat.

An email was sent to the broadcaster this morning, along with multiple other media firms across the UK and Ireland.

There is currently a heavy Garda presence at the scene, and the national broadcaster has launched pre-recorded programmes as the building is analysed.

In an article on RTÉ’s website, they said: “The safety of its staff and personnel is paramount and normal services will resume as soon as possible following consultation with gardaí.”
