Nature-inspired works to feature in Navan artist’s exhibition

Anna Marie Murray at work in her studio, where she develops her mixed media artwork inspired by her love of nature.A NAVAN artist is set to showcase her latest collection of mixed media artwork at Navan Community Library later this month.
The exhibition by local artist Anna Marie Murray will run from Monday, 24th August to Sunday, 6th September, with an official launch taking place at the library on Thursday, 27th August, from 7pm.
Members of the public are invited to attend the launch, meet Anna Marie and view her latest collection.
A long-standing member of the Meath Arts Group, Anna Marie has been creating art for many years and has developed her own distinctive mixed media style.
Her work frequently features animals and landscapes, drawing inspiration from her love of nature and her use of expressive colour.
Anna Marie completed a VEC Level 5 Art course, achieving seven distinctions and one higher merit.
She is a resident with Clann Mór Residential and Respite, where she has her own art studio in the garden of her home.
The dedicated creative space has provided Anna Marie with an opportunity to develop her artistic practice and experiment with different techniques and approaches to mixed media.
Anna Marie has exhibited her work widely over the years and is looking forward to bringing her latest collection to the Navan community.
The exhibition will be open to the public during Navan Community Library's normal opening hours throughout its two-week run.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for local people to view the work of a Meath artist and to learn more about Anna Marie's distinctive approach to mixed media art.
