Exciting match ups to get championship going

The fixtures are confirmed and the action is ready to get underway with several familiar foes set to lay down early markers.
SENIOR A
Monday 17th August - Kilmessan v Na Fianna; Ratoath v Kiltale; Blackhall Gaels v Killyon.
The focus of round one will be on the clash of defending champions Na Fianna and their familiar rivals, Kilmessan.
These sides have met in the last 10 senior finals. Will we see another epic showdown between the heavyweights of Meath camogie or will both teams be keeping their cards close to their chests?
The other two matches in Senior A could also go either way. Kiltale beat Ratoath in last year’s championship, but the same result is by no means guaranteed on Monday.
Blackhall Gaels were impressive winners of the Senior B competition last October. However, they face a stern test when they come up against 2025 semi-finalists Killyon.
SENIOR B
Monday 17th August - Boardsmill v Kildalkey; Trim v Navan O’Mahonys; Dunboyne v Clann na nGael.
Kildalkey didn’t reach a semi-final last year and could be under pressure against Boardsmill, who have just come down from Senior A.
Trim and O'Mahonys are evenly-matched and both will be looking to lay down a marker in the opening round.
Dunboyne, who were Intermediate champions in 2025, will take on Clann na nGael, a seasoned Senior B side who lost out in extra-time of last year’s semi-final.
When it comes to round one, the Scoil Mhuire debs could be a spanner in the works, as come Monday night, certain players from Kildalkey, Boardsmill and Trim will be on the dancefloor in Tullamore instead of on the pitches of Meath!
INTERMEDIATE
Tuesday 18th August - Navan O’Mahonys B v Drumree; Dunderry v Na Fianna B.
After coming away with the win against Navan O’Mahonys first team in the league final, Drumree would be expected to get the better of the Navan club's second team. The game in Dunderry is rather less predictable.
JUNIOR A
Wednesday 19th August - Trim B v Kilmessan B; Ratoath B v Drumree B; Na Fianna C v Dunderry B.
JUNIOR B
Wednesday 19th August - Wolfe Tones v Navan O’Mahonys C; Drumree C v Kiltale B; Kildalkey B v Boardsmill B.
