Fixtures confirmed as league conclusion looms

As it transpired the last round of games involving the top four in FL Div 1 had no bearing on the semi-final pairings as Ratoath had already secured top spot and Wolfe Tones were assured of fourth, while Summerhill and Gaeil Colmcille were also through to the last four with only second or third placed finishes up for grabs.

The semi-finals were predetermined with first playing and fourth and second taking on third, so even before Ratoath's win over Wolfe Tones and Summerhill's victory against Gaeil Colmcille the same match-ups were already guaranteed for next Tuesday's semi-finals.

All the drama of the final day was reserved for the foot of the table where Moynalvey picked up their first win of the campaign with a surprise victory over Dunshaughlin.

That win for the intermediate side, coupled with Na Fianna's loss to Donaghmore/Ashbourne, moved Moynalvey out of last place and into a relegation play-off while condemning Na Fianna to the automatic drop.

Skryne's loss to St Peter's means they will play Moynalvey to determine who else will drop to Div 2 for 2027.

Oldcastle's draw with Meath Hill in their final game knocked them out of contention for promotion from Div 2 as they finished level on points with Simonstown and Seneschalstown, but Simonstown defeated both sides and Seneschalstown beat Oldcastle in the earlier rounds and on those results they both leapfrog Oldcastle.

The semi-final pairings for the Div 2 promotion race will see Navan O'Mahonys take on Seneschalstown with Duleek-Bellewstown playing Simonstown.

St Vincent's have been relegated from Div 2 and will be joined in Div 3 next year by the loser of the play-off between Clann na nGael and Rathkenny.

Slane will face Castletown in the Div 3 promotion semi-finals, while St Michael's will take on Kilbride to determine who will advance to the final and earn promotion.

At the other end of the table Ballivor are relegated to Div 4 with Kilmainham and Blackhall Gaels to meet in a play-off to see who will join them in Div 4 next year.

Bective will take on Drumbaragh in the Div 4 promotion play-off, while St Brigid's will take on Ratoath's second string in the other semi-final.

Skryne finished bottom and are relegated to Div 5 with St Ultan's and St Colmcille's to contest a play-off to determine the second team to be relegated.

In Div 5 Gaeil Colmcille made it 11 wins out of 11 to top the group and they will take on Duleek-Bellewstown in the promotion semi, while Kilmainhamwood will tackle Moylagh in the other semi-final.

Navan O'Mahonys will drop down to Div 6 for next year while Simonstown and Drumconrath will play-off to see who joins them.
