Moynalvey found the back of the net four times inside the opening 26 minutes on their way to a stunning victory over Dunshaughlin in the FL Div 1. Dunshaughlin raced into a 1-2 to 0-0 lead before Darren Brennan raised the home sides first green flag. In the space of 90 seconds, Moynalvey scored three more goals from the midfield pairing of Barry Walsh and Padraic Harnan while Vinny Walsh also got in on the action. At half-time, Moynalvey led 4-3 to 1-5. Despite a Dunshaughlin revival in the third quarter, Moynalvey closed out the contest well.
