Navan secondary school principal to take over at Scoil Mhure, Trim

The current principal of St Joseph’s Mercy Secondary School, Navan, David McCormack, ls leaving the school after two years to become principal of Scoil Mhuire in Trim. His departure will come into effect from 31st August when MrMcCormack succeeds Jacqueline Maher.

Addressing parents of students in the school in a letter, Mr McCormack said: “It has been a privilege to work with your daughters and to witness their growth, achievements, talents and contributions to school life. St Joseph’s Mercy Secondary School is a truly special school with a strong sense of community, dedicated staff, supportive families, and students who consistently make us proud.”

“I would like to reassure you that I will remain fully committed to my role until the end of summer, ensuring continuity for the school during this period of transition while the Board of Management undertakes the process of appointing a new principal,” Mr McCormack concluded.
