Chalk Talk Special: Ms Keane was always a winner at St Oliver’s

Ms Catherine Keane Faulkner was one of those teachers you don’t forget; warm, memorable, and loved by so many pupils she taught throughout her time at St Oliver Plunkett School Navan.

But some might also remember her from back in 1983, Ms Keane took part in the famous Sally O’Brien Lookalike Contest part of Harp Lager’s hugely popular campaign built around the line: “Sally O’Brien… and the way she might look at you.”

The win landed her a share a £1,000 prize

The campaign became a real talking point across Ireland.
