Robbery file near complete

The investigation file was near completion in the case of 21 year-old man from Enfield charged with a robbery in the town last month.

Sergeant Declan Brady told Judge Ciaran Liddy at Trim District Court that the file was on the verge of being sent for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Judge Liddy on Thursday adjourned three charges against Dean Gill a roofing worker, of Blackwater Close, Enfield to 19th May to receive the directions in the matter from the DPP.

The defendant is alleged to have robbed between €900 to €1,000 in cash from a named individual at Ryans Stores, Main Street, Enfield on 4th March last.

He is also charged with possession of cocaine seven days later on 11th March at Blackwater Close, Enfield and with a further charge on the same date and at the same place with possession of the drug for sale or supply.
