Kiss and make-up for Valentine's Day
Siberian-born makeup artist Maria Slinkina with a studio in Trim gives a step by step guide on how to achieve the perfect Valentine's Day makeup look using some of her favourite products.
STEP 1
I prepared my face for a makeup application by applying a primer that also mattifies the T Zone area. I used Fixspray from MAC to help my makeup to stay longer.

STEP 2
I started my makeup with NARS foundation in Medium 1 Punjab using a Beauty Blender.

STEP 3
Next is a Concealer NARS in Medium 1 Custard.

STEP 4
I pay a lot of attention to my eyebrows. They are one of the most prominent and important facial features. I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow gel in Blonde and drew them with a tiny brush.

STEP 5
I chose NARSissist eyeshadow palette for this look. I applied the shade Seven Heaven to my eyelids with a MAC 217 brush. I used Coconut Grove shade from the same palette for an outer corner of the eye and under a bottom lash line halfway through.

STEP 6
I used Arison Lashes to create this look. I cut one piece in half and used on each of my eyes. My favourite eyelash adhesive is House of Lashes in Black.

STEP 7
Classic eyeliner is a glamorous option for all occasions! I absolutely love Tom Ford eyeliner in 01 Deeper.

STEP 8
I finished my eyes with a light coat of Too Faced Better Than Love Mascara.

STEP 9
I applied a bronzer on my cheekbones with a Too Faced bronzer.

STEP 10
I like to set my makeup with a bit of a loose power, especially for T Zone areas. Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder in 01 is a great one!

STEP 11
I contoured the lips with a red lip liner. My choice is a MAC in Cherry. I then applied a layer or two of red lipstick. I was used NARS lip pigment in Don't Stop.

STEP 12
Finally, I completed the look with a tiny bit of Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole highlighter.
