Got annoyed over garda talking to girlfriend
TRIM District Court heard that a 23 year-old man from Navan got annoyed over an incident where a detective spoke to his girlfriend.
Thomas Reilly of Tailteann Drive, Navan intervened and called the detective a “p***k”. He fully apologised to the garda before the court that morning.
Reilly was charged with threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour at Applegreen, Mullaghboy, Navan on 12th June 2024.
Judge Eirinn McKiernan gave him the opportunity to come up with €300 to donate to MCDAR.
The defendant paid over the money.
