Handful of changes for Greville and Meath

The team news is in for Meath's clash with newly promoted Mayo in the NHL Div 2 this Saturday.

Johnny Greville has made three changes to the starting 15 for Meath’s NHL Div 2 clash away to Mayo this Saturday.

Meath overturned an eight-point deficit at half-time and narrowly got the better of Derry in Trim last Sunday. Just before the break in that contest, Conor Leavy suffered a nasty shoulder injury and required the assistance of the paramedics on site. Anthony Healy comes into the starting 15 in place of the Dunderry man.

Two Kilmessan men have also being handed starting 15 spots. Trim’s Joey Cole is replaced in midfield b Lorcan O’Connor while Sean Doyle gets the nod in place of stalwart Damien Healy.

Another Kilmessan man, Kyle Donnelly makes his return to the squad after suffering a calf injury during the Kehoe Cup.

With two wins under their belt, Meath sit in fourth place in the NHL Div 2 table while Mayo remain winless at the bottom. Both teams have played three games so far.

Two big tests against Kerry and Laois will follow this weekend's clash in the West. Greville will be hoping that his side can get the win and also come away from the game unscathed.

Meath will play Mayo in the NHL Div 2 at 2pm in Adrian Freeman Park, Tooreen
