Aussie team search for Irish players to join for year long adventure

An Australian netball and football club are searching for ladies Gaelic football, camogie, soccer or rugby players who are interested in taking on an Aussie adventure for 2026!

Richard Brown, director of Women’s Football at Cavendish Football Netball Club in Victoria, and his wife, Laura travelled through Ireland at the beginning of January in the search of players who may be interested in taking on AFL with the Cavendish Bloods.

The 12-month trip is offering a free private room in Hamilton, Western Victoria, shared meals and support connecting to local work opportunities and training facilities, with the season beginning after March 2026. Details on how to apply provided in poster.
