Young Drumconrath man among Dundalk collision fatalities
Alan McCluskey (23) died in Louth tragedy
A young Drumconrath man is among the five people who died in the shocking road traffic collision at Ardee Road, Dundalk, Co Louth last night.
Alan McCluskey, age 23 years, was among the five people whose names were confirmed by An Garda Síochána this evening, with permission of their families.
Also deceased are Chloe McGee, age 23 years, Carrickmacross; Dylan Commins, age 23 years, Ardee; Shay Duffy, age 21 years, Carrickmacross; and Chloe Hipson, age 21 years, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Gardaí in Dundalk continue to investigate all of the circumstances of the fatal road traffic collision that occurred shortly after 9pm on Saturday night.

This afternoon, President Catherine Connolly said she deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of five precious young lives in Louth last night.
"I am thinking of them, their families and of those injured," she stated. "May I acknowledge also all those first responders who have worked to support all involved.”
