Chalk Talk: Headfort welcomes new Head of School

Like the seasons, change is synonymous with renewal, and with the beginning of a new academic year, new opportunity. At Headfort School they are about to step into the autumn with a new head of school, Lucy Gowdie. Lucy joins Headfort with over 25 year's experience in day, boarding, international schools. With a career spanning Australia, Hong Kong, Switzerland and now, Ireland, Lucy brings with her an innate understanding of ambitious teaching and powerful learning, a journey that nurtures the whole child, particularly in primary education.

Understanding the history of Headfort, and its important place in the story of Kells, Lucy looks forward to welcoming many prospective families to the campus to tour the grounds and halls, and the "vigorous and unique curriculum" of a Headfort education.
