Help from the heart of a wonderful community sums up the annual Seamus Farnan Memorial Tractor Run and BBQ which took place in Fordstown on a super-sunny June Saturday with all proceeds going to the Sharon Ball Appeal. Sharon, a teacher in St Mary's Convent Primary School, Trim is currently receiving specialist medical treatment in London.
Local farmers, truck drivers, tractor enthusiasts, and members of the public were joined in Fordstown by members of Sharon's family who were very grateful for the kindness and support from the Seamus Farnan Tractor Run and from all those who gathered in support of the event for Sharon and her family.
