Driving ban deferred

Judge Eirinn McKiernan agreed to postpone the implementation of a three year driving ban on Patrick Connors (43) a car valeter, of Townspark, Navan,

She deferred the disqualification for six months after she convicted the defendant of a drink driving charge at Trim District Court.

The defendant was stated to have had a breath/alcohol reading of 78. The Judge also imposed an €300 on him.
