Three men arrested after Co Meath seizure of 1kg of suspected cocaine and over €500,000 in cash

Three men have been arrested after Gardai searched a business premises in Co Meath seizing 1kg of suspected cocaine and over €500k in cash.

As part of an intelligence-led operation targeting organised crime, personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, Organised & Serious Crime, and the Drogheda Drug Unit searched a business premises in Duleek on Friday 29th May 2026.

During the course of the operation, Gardaí seized one kilogram of suspected cocaine and over €220,000 in cash.

Three adult males (aged in their 50s, 40s, 20s) were arrested and were before a special sitting of Dundalk District Court at 12 midday today, Sunday 31st May, 2026.

During follow up searches, Gardaí seized an additional €220,000, £89,000 sterling and a number of items of evidential value.

The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
