Camogs to begin new quest

After a successful run to the National Camogie Div 2 league final, Stephen Sheil’s Meath commence their Leinster Intermediate Camogie campaign this weekend with a semi-final trip to their neighbours Westmeath.

The two sides met in the opening round of league where an Emma Regan goal at the end of the third quarter put daylight between the sides and the Royals closed out the contest well.

Sheil will be hoping for a repeat of that performance against the neighbours, who comfortably dispatched Kildare last week on a scoreline of 6-14 to 0-12.

Throw in for Meath’s Leinster intermediate semi-final clash is at 2.30pm on Saturday at a Westmeath venue that has not yet been confirmed.
