Ladies Lunch in aid of the Special Hands Activity Group
A FUNDRAISING Ladies Lunch in aid of the Special Hands Activity Group will take place this Saturday, 25th April 2026, at the Darnley Lodge Hotel in Athboy.
The event, which begins at 1pm with a prosecco reception, will feature a four-course lunch with wine, along with a fashion show and a guest talk from Bee Flanagan, an accredited Master Coach in Positive Wellbeing.
A raffle and disco will round off what promises to be an enjoyable afternoon.
Special Hands Activity Group is a local voluntary charity supporting children and young adults with additional needs across County Meath. The organisation provides a wide range of activities, including swimming, baking, dance, tennis and therapeutic programmes, helping members build confidence, independence and social connections.
With over 200 families involved, the group relies heavily on fundraising events such as this to continue and expand its services.
Tickets for the Ladies Lunch cost €75, with all proceeds going directly to Special Hands. Organisers are encouraging early booking due to strong interest.
