Gallery: Kells Road Races Ride Out

An absolutely fantastic day was had by all at Ireland’s Largest Rideout 2026 which we have held for the past 5 years. The concept was originally the brainchild of one club member, Henry Vaughan because Kells Road Races are no different to other Road Race clubs and rely heavily on annual fundraising to generate the funds to run our main event each June - the CC’s Unlimited Kells Road Races.

This year, there was last minute uncertainty as to whether we should postpone the rideout due to the ongoing fuel crisis so it was great to see such high attendance on the day.

Waking up on Sunday morning, we were delighted to see that the weather played ball with us and we had a lovely day for the event.

We got a fantastic turnout with 996 bikes registering on the day!

We were also very lucky to have had the support of several new club members to assist on the day - we simply could not put on a successful event without them, they are a credit to the club.

The event would not be possible without the support that we received from the biking community from all over the country, North, South, East & West, Year on year they turn up to support us, this is something that we are very greatful for. Bikers have a fantastic legacy of supporting events & charities - the amount of charity work that bikers do all over the county each year is incredible.

Kells Road Races really is a fantastic club to be part of and its successful events like this that make us all proud to be involved.

The support from the public on the day was fantastic as usual. It was brilliant to see such a large turnout of locals in park Rí and lining the roads along the route to witness the spectacle of such a large number of bikes in procession on our local roads.

A huge thank you must go to CC’s Unlimited, our 2026 Title Sponsor who kindly sponsored the Rideout & provided support on the day with Christy Gilsenan of CC’s leading it out & John Gilsenan of CC’s following behind the riders. We would also like to thank Park Rí for the use of their truck stop to host the event.

Now our focus firmly turns to preparations for our main event in June. The 2026 CC’s Unlimited Kells Road Races are due to take place on the 20th & 21st of June in Crossakiel.
