As you were for the Meath ladies for Leinster Final showdown with Dubs

Shane McCormack is sticking with the same starting 15 that got the better of Kildare last week

Shane McCormack has made no changes to his Meath starting 15 for the Leinster LGFA Final against Dublin in Croke Park on Sunday. In recent contests, the Dubs have had the Royals' number, but there were some encouraging signs the last time the sides met in Pairc Tailteann in mid-April.

In the low-scoring contest, the Royals made Dublin work hard for their victory for the majority of the contest, but a second-half goal from Sophie McIntyre handed the women in blue a nice cushion.

Meath bounced back with a good victory over Kildare. The Royals led by nine points in that contest and just weathered a late revival from the Lilywhites to clinch a one-point victory.

Dublin have their obvious threats and will be overwhelming favourites this Sunday. Hannah Tyrrell continues to threaten even the greatest defences, while bringing back Lauren Magee, Sinead Goldrick and Carla Rowe from their bench is an indication of the embarrassment of riches Dublin enjoy.

It will be a tough ask, but Meath are more than capable of finding even more improvement and if they can maintain a strong structure and stick to an inventive attacking game plan, then a shock could be on the cards.
