Council announce new online HAP application

Meath Co Council have launched the new online applications process for Housing Assistance Payment.

The new online portal will make the application process more efficient and easier for everyone, according Meath Co Council.

The online portal went live on Wednesday last (3rd April) for Meath Co Council applicants.

Any person who is qualified for Social Housing, wishing to apply for HAP, a financial support to assist those renting privately, can do so online at hap.ie

"This new applications process for HAP will only be necessary for new applicants. Those who have already applied need not apply again," said a Meath Co Council spokesperson.
