Kells AC runners get ready to take on Dublin City Marathon

The Irish Life Dublin City Marathon takes place on Sunday 30th October this year the famous event will included at least 20 athletes from Kells AC one of the newest clubs on the athletic landscape.

They members are according to sources "definitely feeling the power of support from fellow members and of course the local community."

This is the club's first year to enter the Dublin marathon which attracts athletes from all over the world although some of the members took part in the virtual Dublin Marathon two years ago.

To have 20 athletes taking part is a massive achievement for the young club. This would not have been achieved without the support of their wonderful members and without the efforts of Ciara Shaw and Breda Kelly their coach leaders who devised routes, water stations and training plans.

There will be many within the Meath athletic fraternity wishing the best of luck to Kells AC as they take on another big challenge.
